Pupil Premium

Our Pupil Premium allocation for 2012-2013 was £3714. We have used it to provide further training and Teacher Assistant time. These are difficult to quantify regarding impact on learning outcomes but there has been a very positive impact on attitudes which has led to a more effective learning environment. Teacher Assistant time has been used to provide support in both Literacy and Mathematics using the following programmes: Early Literacy Support, Catch Ups, Springboard and Letters and Sounds. Teacher Assistant time has also been used to support Guided Reading Groups across the three classes in school.

Our Pupil Premium allocation for 2013-2014 is £2700. We are employing the above strategies as well as using £1000 to purchase a wider range of scheme books (Oxford Reading Tree) to support the development of reading  in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2.

Our Pupil Premium allocation for 2014-15 is £3100 – this is being targeted towards the three children for whom it was intended. We have organised specific Teacher Assistant cover to work on a one-one basis in educational and nurture programmes as well as on going assessment of need.
