Gifted & Talented Register
Dear Parents
As of January 2010 it is a requirement that we notify any parents of children who have been added to our Gifted and Talented Register. Children who are listed on this register have been nominated by their Class Teacher as having a special ability in a curriculum area. Each teacher will be adapting their teaching to help accommodate their skill.
In order for us to define who is a Gifted and Talented child, and in what subject areas, the government have given us the following guidelines.
Gifted includes Maths, English, Science and ICT (all core subjects)
Talented includes DT, Art Music, PSHE, French, RE, History, Geography, PE and Drama
