Victorian Day
We had a great dressing up day when we came in as Victorians children to enjoy a very stick days teaching. Our lessons were very different and included drill, scripture, object lesson and a celebration of the Empire.
This houses a mix of Year 2, 3 & 4 children. The class teachers are Vee Hopkins, Fran Osborne & Lyn Wiles assisted by Carol Spinks and Annette McEwan, the designated teaching assistants.

Our International Primary Curriculum topic has been called ‘Young and Old’. We have been looking at the different stages of our lives. Emma Harrison came in with their new baby, Jack. Lacy Hastings came to do some literacy workshops with all the children in school. Class 2 focussed on poems about ‘clouds’. Arran, Gus and Abbie read out their poems in the school assembly.
Our class have been investigating ‘famous people’. We went home and researched a person of our choice. We came into school dressed as that person and gave a short presentation. We were amazed at how many special people were born in our county.
Bob Larking came into school to complete two sessions of still life with Class 2 and Class 3.
